Save the Date!

Join us at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, on March 25-28, 2014 when The Salvation Army presents the 2014 National Social Services and Disaster Management Conference (NSSDMC). The conference theme is The Power of One Army, Transforming Our World.

This conference is the national Salvation Army biennial gathering of representatives from the best of Salvation Army social and disaster services programming in North America. Unique to the 2014 conference, however, will be a special track for the anticipated participation of delegates from all over the world.

NSSDMC delegates represent social services and disaster services managers, front line social workers, case managers, teachers, counselors, corps officers, adult rehabilitation centers and other social work and disaster services staff who daily serve low income and vulnerable populations and who advocate for the programs that meet human need. The conference features exhibits, workshops, institutes, keynote sessions, and forums on hot topics impacting Salvation Army stakeholders. The objective is to network, share best practices and innovation, and identify ‘trend' in social work and disaster management from a micro and/or macro perspective and so fulfill the mandate of One Army, One Mission, One Message in services to suffering humanity.
